GASSHO NEWSLETTER
The Gassho Newsletter helps assist in the practice efforts of inmates. Gassho is (plural gasshos) A ritual gesture of Eastern origin, with hands pressed together in front of the chest. It can be used for prayer or as a sign of greeting, gratitude, reverence, or apology.
Historically, ASZC served inside the local prisons and the Gassho Newsletter was published by inmates, for other inmates, with an outside assist from other members of ASZC. Due to COVID-19 and limited volunteers, we no longer have the capacity to serve in this way.
Volunteer In order for the newsletter to be sustainable, we are asking for 5-6 volunteers to help in the printing, production, and mailing of the newsletter. If you would like to volunteer, email Mumon Amy Peeko at [email protected]. Donate
Your donation makes a difference, the donations help with the costs of printing, supplies, and postage to a list of almost 700 inmates and counting! Thank you for your support. Every dollar we receive goes to changing lives.
